Coolidge Wall Donates to YWCA Dayton Back To School Wish List Program
Casual Day event results in a generous donation to local YWCA
/Ohio News Articles/ - DAYTON, OH, August 24, 2008 - Barbara Essman and Joyce George of Coolidge Wall made a generous donation of money and school supplies to the YWCA Dayton Back to School Wish List Program from their July Casual Day event. Coolidge Wall chooses one Friday a month to dress casually at work but to do so employees must pay for the privilege. Each month the Coolidge Wall Casual Day Committee selects a non-profit organization to donate the funds raised by dressing casual. The Back To School Wish List program seeks donations of school supplies for children in the YWCA's Domestic Violence Shelter and other programs managed by the YWCA. These school supplies will help send a child back to school with the basic necessities to continue their education as well as assist the YWCA throughout the year as new families enter shelter.
Donations of new school supplies are still being accepted and can be delivered to the YWCA Dayton administrative offices at 141 W. Third St. (Third and Wilkinson), Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Monetary donations are always welcome and checks payable to YWCA Dayton can be mailed to 141 W.
